Default Looking for 289 or 302 block

I am looking for a standard 289 or 302 block.
289 6 bolt bell housing 1965-1968
302 roller block/engine

please reply with location and price...looking to find something within 2 hours drive of Kansas City...

This shouldn't be too difficult to locate in your area, tap into the early Mustang shops/vendors, even volume engine builders usually have core piles of this stuff.

I believe Jim Cowles www.shelbyparts.com still has some 6-bolt Cobra lettered scattershields as used on R-Model Shelbys. The guy that cast them did the last run of them several years ago so they are getting difficult to find. They are really cool looking and add a little security over the cast aluminum bellhousings.

He also has plenty of blocks. Obviously the distance is a little further to Green Bay, WI, but at mininum you could take care of the scattershield with him.
