Sunday Run to Essex (10-11-2009)
Hey Kids:
The weather is looking sunny and relatively warm for tomorrow. Noreen and I will be heading east on Route 80 to Essex for coffee and - any interest?

West Haven to the center of Essex and back via 95 and route 80. I'm thinking it's about 80 miles or so round trip. As always, we are flexible about the route. Noonish?

If anything I will be inbound to Essex via Route 9. If you want to meet up there and cruise back along 9 and 66... I am game. My start point has to be from the shop.

The wife and I will be in the center of town around 1:00. There is a parking lot at the end of their main street. I will be parked there or on the street if I can find an acceptable spot. We usually grab coffee (and) at one of the little places along the street.

I saw you go by. I was at the parking lot for the CT River Museum (where all the dogs were). Route 9 North was perfect, open, and all new asphalt...

Dogs on the Dock. It was great for 30min, then realized my dog is sitting at home in the house and made more sense to let her out some.
RTE 68, 17, 148 (I think), and 9. All great driving today.
GT is ready for next weekend.
