Question Jay, Any Chance of a LRP Parade Lap?

Hey Jay:
There are four big weekends planned for Lime Rock Park this year. They include the Grand-Am weekend on May 28-31, the NASCAR weekend on July 2-3, the American Lemans on July 23-24 and the Labor Day Historics.

Is there any chance of getting our own parking and/or a parade lap for the Snakes at any of these events?

Default LRP Track Day

Screw the parade, how about a track day to really drive your car the way it is suppose to be driven.

We are basically in. I need to know how many cars we can realistically field for the following events and dates:

May 28 – 31 GRAND-AM ROLEX SPORTS CAR SERIES
July 2 – 3 NASCAR DOUBLEHEADER
July 22-24 AMERICAN LE MANS NORTHEAST GRAND PRIX
September 3-6 HISTORIC FESTVAL 28 (LABOR DAY WEEKEND)

Jay, you are the man!

We can do any weekend as long as the weather is dry.

Is this parking and/or a parade lap or two?

It would be the whole shebang under the car corral deal. We get to park together and then get escorted around between the action. I am going to request the May event so we can get in a quieter one and then hope for a bigger turnout on the Vintage weekend they have been so nice to name after us.

Good Idea. The May event would be perfect. You're right it will probably be more relaxed. Count me in

Seeing as how I might be driving a GT-40 as well, I suppose we need exceptions...

I'd like to focus on Cobras, GTs, and Daytona Coupes. That would be good.

Maybe everyone thinks karting is involved. Is it me or is it getting harder and harder to get a fire under this group?

Absolutely count me in. I keep my SPF in Sheffield MA, about 20 minutes from Lime Rock, but looking forward to a group event for a long time.

Ever changing schedule here but the July and Sept. dates seem better for me. May be out of town end of May (but who knows). Call me when you can, we need to set up an appointment...
