I have gone to several in Bakersfield. It is a good opportunity to see vintage Drag race cars and Personalities all kinds. Great time. See how it was done without electronics..........and for the most part with engines made from production cars.

and lots of those engines were from old production cars found setting out behind somebodies barn---It was a way of life to look in the fields for chryslers as you drove down the country roads as we went arount the states-------
