Default Kiwanis Show

Everybody on board for Kiwanis Car Show this year? 7 Sep, Sat. The show starts at 9AM. We meet at the Windmill for breakfast and go down in a group again?

I am in and I think Karl is as well. Let's do an 8:00AM breakfast and then cruise over! Long range forecast is favorable!

Hmmm! I was the only one to make the 6 am meeting for the Manchester car show. In a driving thunder storm; no less! It started 10 miles out side of Manchester (I was 50 mi. away to start) as I drove in. I mean there were greyhounds hitting the windshield!!! Not rain drops. Cars with roofs were pulling over!! I kept going; otherwise I would have drowned! I hung out in Karl's garage for 3+ hrs. till a small break in the rain & made a break for York Co. Of course it cleared up @ 101 & 125. But the day shot, I continued on home & drained the beast and dried her out. I'm up for one more shot this Sat. But if it looks even half bad, I'm bailing before the fact this time. Thank God, I put those new Hoosier billboard's on. They saved my arse in the rain, compaired to the M/T's I had on.

That Tom is ok in my book! I am real hungry too!

Mostly sunny and 79 degrees! Sounds good!

Jeez
I feel bad. I hadn't logged in to the forum to find out I was supposed to buy! Sorry about the "I left my wallet at home" thing this morning, but nobody mentioned the check and I guess I dodged the bullet! Maybe next time?

Tom

By the way, good turnout. Good to see everyone again.

I enjoyed it, too. Got to renew some old acquaintances and make some new ones...and see some great cars, too.

Too bad breakfast cost me more than I had planned :-)
