R.I. SPF dealer?

anyone in new england familiar with a supposed superformance dealer in portsmouth r.i.?

i suspect it may be a sub-dealer, but i'm not sure. a post last week referred to a "dealer in r.i." and i'd like to find out more info in the event we get some good weather and i venture down that way for a ride to check it out.

Hello snake eyes, It is a Sub dealer, He is located in Portsmouth RI right outside of Providence. Thats where I went to look at the Superformance because I couldnt get to long Island at the time. Awesome cars.

Man thanks, this has been an exciting few months for me. I have done SO MUCH research that I am extremely close to closing a deal. I have seen a couple of Superfromance cars, and I am utterly impressed by them. Someone had posted on this site saying that ALL superformance came off the boat with paint waves and I looked VERY closely, and the ones I have seen have absolutely nothing flawed. Every T is crossed, and I is dotted. I love em, I have one more company that I am doing some footwork on but, I think my mind is already made up. I cant wait until this car is sitting in my garage and is MINE. Very exciting. He had two (2) in shop when I went down, a Titainium w/o stripes, and a Guardsman blue, w/ white stripes. I fell in love. twice ! When I am ready to sign up I think I am going to take from dealer stock because I can see ALL of the colors look great and I wont be able to make a decision till it's sitting in front of me. Thanks for the offer, and In a couple of weeks I am going to head to Hartford to meet w/ a customer, and do more Cobra footwork, maybe I could check out your art then. I'll keep in touch, thanks again.

sounds like you're on the right track..i've seen probably 20-25 SPF's and i have never seen a bad paint job.

as you know, they are known for great fit and finish as well as just plain building a great car over-all.

may take a ride down to portsmouth this afternoon if they are open...the "biker" group is looking for some place to go and i think they would enjoy seeing a few more SPF"s.

let me know if you're down this way sometime and want to see #1049 (titanium with black stripe).

I saw a Superformance # I foget, on this web site for sale titanium and black and it lookes unreal, your on man. P.S. I am jealous that my car is sitting in yout driveway. HAHAHAHA

Dave, Superformance got my vote when I was doing my "homework". My other option was ERA. Very nice too! The SPF dealer network is top notch. Gordon and I got our cars from the same dealer. Our cars probably came over on the same ship! Mine is the "old school" Guardsman Blue/White stripe. Absolutely love it. I've had a bad couple of days at work, but with great weather today (sunny mid-60's), fired it up & went for a nice ride. It was/is indeed therapy! Gordon will show you a nice example of quality, fit and finish!

Gordon, what's going on? I finally turned 1K+ on mine! Like I said, a great day to strap in, put the world on hold and burn some gas. We'll have to touch base and catch up on things. As for heater ducts, grab a flashlight and look under your dash above and behind where the speedo is. You'll see a knob on a 3"x4" cover. That's the "door" to open. There's another on the right side. Trust me they're there.

i must have missed your post a couple of weeks ago...glad your enjoying the cobra,but only 1000 miles!!! you must be working too much and too hard!!!

i'll look under the dash tomorrow...it's supposed to be in the high 40's so just might get a short ride in and any additional heat that i can muster up would be appreciated.

have a Merry Christmas and great New Year...i'll try to give you a call sometime over the holidays to catch up on the latest news.
