Default Bow, NH 5/17

Anyone planning to go to the Bow Rotary show on the 17th? There's a registration form here The Rotary Club of Bow, New Hampshire

I was thinking maybe 7:00 breakfast at Windmill, then go over to the show.

Assuming I can get the Cobra ready and feeling better, I'm in... I'll speak for Tom, He's in...

Sounds good, Gino. I'll see if I can recruit my buddy Ray to drive the SPF and bring both cars :-)

After some extensive arm twisting, Ray agreed to drive COB023...so there will be two bright red Cobras going to Bow.

Given the 17th event, I won't be going down for breakfast on the 10th...life is full of compromises.

Make it 3 red Cobra's! That is if all goes well prior; alot of different irons in fire right now. Hopefully it will not be a wet weekend, or below 50. Gino! you will be well by then!! All the best M8 & go slow! Not driving wise I mean

I emailed David from Rotary. He said we can register and pay at the show...advance registration not required. They had 132 cars last year, so it sounds like a pretty good start to the season.

Dennis says he's going to be there, too.

Starting to look like enough Cobras to be rattling some windows and setting off car alarms :-)

Going to try to install my new wiring harness this weekend. If all goes well I would like to go. We'll see.

Bill,

Sounds like you are talking from past experience like thunder in the Rockies. Didn't you like it when traveling with the Cobra gang in the tunnels or in parking garages and the car alarms sounding off? I miss traveling at times in a group of 30 or more screaming machines. Great fun and lots on memories.

In Colorado we stopped for lunch at a casino that had a multilevel parking garage. I think alarms went off on every level as we drove up the ramps!

Very cool :-)

I am really disappointed. The forecast for Saturday has gone from bad to worse...looks like we are going to be rained out.

I'll cross my fingers for a change, but it looks bad.

Forecast says it should quit raining up here by 10:30 or 11:00. If it clears up, maybe I'll take a ride and see if the show is still on.

Sorry I left about the time you posted, Dave.

Ray and I took the 2 cars. Turned into a beautiful day, but the turnout at the show wasn't terrific. Some nice cars, but not nearly as many as they would have had if everyone had known how nice the weather would be. Great day for the drive.

Bill
