The 6th Annual Cobra, Classic, and Hot Rod Rally Ride
to Benefit The Welcome Home Vietnam Veteran's Day. $$15.00 Event Donation.
OCTOBER 11, 2014 with a Rain Date of OCTOBER 12, 2014.
Backroads Rally Ride to Gillette Castle and Mohegan Sun Casino for for lunch.
Times and Route Info to follow. Most likely be the same as last year.
All cobras, our friend's classic's, hotrod's and modern muscle are all welcome.
Stay Tuned, Let us know your interests. May try to get DVDs of last year's event made, Two Part Show. 50/50 raffle to be held at Gillette Castle to benefit the WHVVD-CT.

FYI
I was out for a ride today and found Rt 82 closed to through traffic between Rt 149 and
RT 151. Looked on line for more info, it will remain closed untill Nov. 1 2014. I did take the detour and it was well marked and not to far out of the way.

Thanks so much for the info, Well probably take the detour or Ill come up with something to by bass the trouble spot and go directly to gillette castle. Ill keep everyone informed and come up with an alternate route rally to hand out.

Hello All,
Skip brought to my attention some construction issues. I did a preliminary ride this past Sunday and came up with an alternate route which was pretty nice too. All kinds of motor cycles and some Classic cars were seen.
After # 5 on Rally Points
From 91 to Exit 22S to Route 9 South.
From 9 South to Exit 66 East.
From 66 East to Route 151 to Route 149 North to Wigwam Rd right onto Town St
Town St will Run into Route 82. Rally Point @ Town Tavern.
Resume as scheduled. 50/50 Raffle Drawing @ Gillette Castle.

UPDATED ROUTE for 6th Annual Rally Ride
Hello All,
Its that time for the 6th Annual Rally Ride. There are some Bridge and Road Closures due to Construction in the area of the Goodspeed opera house, But an Alternate route has been plotted and tested all OK. Nice Scenic Roads as well.

Looks like i am now going to miss this very nice fall ride this year. There is a very slight chance I could make it, you never know!!!
