Default New England Cobras to Carlisle

Any New England cobra folks planning on making the trip to Carlisle?

Weather permiting, I'm planning on going out sat. and returning sun.

Would be fun to get a few peolple together for the ride out there and back.

just wanted to bring this back up to the top to see if anyone from eastern ma,r.i.,n.h.vt.etc is interested in driving out to carlisle for the replica car show weekenk of may 17-19 ?

can't believe we don't have a few people who wouldn't enjoy the ride to pa.especially if they predict good weather.

Snakeyes,
I know of two New England guys that will be driving right past Carlisle on the way to the Superformance show at VIR. They can't be the only guys in NE with Cobras.

thanks..i'm beginning to think that most of the people who own cobra's in the northeast don't drive 'em just look at them in the garage and admire them for their beauty!!

doesn't seem to be much interest in getting activity going to enjoy the excitement and pleasure of actually DRIVING the car other than taking it to the local car show on a week nite or weekend.

was hoping that having an SPF sub-dealer in rhode island would be the catalyst for getting some cobra activity going...wishfull thinking.

Cool Hey SNAKEYES....

I'm not from New England, but I am from the North East. And yes, I'm one who will "just look at them in the garage and admire them for their beauty!!". But today I was one who was "actually driving the car" in what was an outstanding day! Picked up the Mrs. from school today. Looking forward to blue skys on May 18th!

mike:

thanks for the reply...glad your both enjoying looking at your car, but also driving it.
doesn't seem like a whole lot of folks here in the northeast get together and do group type activities with their cobras as evidenced by the few posts listed in the new england forum.
a ride sometime this spring with a bunch of cobras of all types would be a lot of fun...maybe DVSF11 and the SPF get together later this month are siphoning off some of that interest.
i woould be willing to help put together a few cobra "events" if there were enough people interested.

there are plenty of great areas to ride to in the western part of the state as well as north into vt,.n.h. and maine.

are you planning on going tro carlisle?...maybe i'll see you there if i can interest a few peolpe to make the trip.

Default New interest

Just made it into the World of New England Cobra ownership.
I completed ERA car 611 this month and have 350 miles on it.
Went from Rocky Hill to Lime Rock Park last weekend.
Short of minor hearing loss, it was awesome.
What incredible power and handling.

My brother, wife and I would be interested in any local
(New England) Cobra events.
