Hello Everyone... happy new year and all....

Cobra with Zebra wood dash....

Know the car and the original owner whom I was told is no longer with us. Car is now in Southern NH. It was at Topsfield Fairgrounds at the North Shore Old Car Club last year with the current owners. Car is now minus a roll bar and is far from the photo shown. Also looked it over at the Ty-Rods Old timers event when it was for sale.

bump.

Thanks for the update.... I am the original owners son whom is now deceased.... I desperately want the car back that I built with my father and had to sell under very hard times..... If anyone knows how to get into contact with the new owners I would be forever grateful.

Best Regards,
-Zac Cohen

Did you try ERA?

zacincceo Zac did you try ERA? Peter may have an idea who now owns the car. Someone on this forum has also started an ERA info on all the cars. Ask Bob P. He might be able to help also. Good luck with finding the car.:) Hope they are willing to sell it,:( It's a good looking car. Rick L.

zacincceo 11-05-2009 10:41 PM

year bump :( wish I could find it...... kills me after all this time I can't get close to finding it..

No idea on VIN #, Peter and ERA are GREAT guys, they worked very closely with my dad on this car and him and Peter got along very well.... alas they have no info.

Just a thought; but since EngineTime saw it at a North Shore Old Car Club event, did you ever give them a call? I checked the website and didn't see the car, but there were a bunch of old timers there that I bet would know something about the car if the guy were a member.

Also, the VIN number should be the same as the original VIN; do you have any paper work, old registrations, etc? I guess it differs by state, but my VIN is "ERA 2044"; nothing fancy.

Lovely car, I see why you'd want it back (not to mention the sentimental connection).

Did you try www.eraregistry.com?

The website is being blocked through my work's system, so I can't check it myself right now.

I've always admired the color combination of that car. Good luck on the search.

You can search by VIN in state DMV records. However, I think it is one state at a time.

Good luck on your quest.
