Latest weather:

July 2, 2007 10:56 AM EDT

Update: Monday 11 am

Here's the latest forecast From Dr. Mel, Intern J.J. DePasqua and Storm Team 8

Bright and brilliant weather will be with us through today. We will experience some mild temperatures this afternoon with highs in the low to mid 70s. Tuesday should be fine and comfortable, too. But for about a week, the holiday weather has appeared to be coming under a cloud, and more. With some super good fortune, the next front will slow in its eastward tracks, but for now it appears that some showers will arrive during Wednesday evening, possibly some thunder, and the unsettled spell could linger through Thursday and Friday.

Warmer air will be trying to push our way while our cool air mass tries to stand in its way. It will be a standoff.

TODAY: Bright and fine. Highs in the 70s.

TONIGHT: Clear and cool. Lows in the low 50s.

TUESDAY: Sunny with some afternoon clouds. Highs in the mid 70s.

That was me you passed on Rte 80 when I pulled into the Sunoco for a "splash". I was wondering where you turned around as you came back by me??? Sorry I missed the lunch at L&J's. Great weather on Sat. I know, no excuses... but I think I was still over the legal limit at 11am (rough night). Anyway I know the current weather outlook is questionable for the end of the week but if there is any chance for a gathering or ride, lets try to get together.

Thanks for the updates.

I went on line yesturday, found a couple of cruises, but they were not current, nice drive though. I ended up a Harley Cruise in Derby, At least my son was able to see something. It was so beutiful outside I did not mind drivin around.

PS lookin for a wednesday meet. Theres one in Hamden at the glenwood. nice cars but its abit of a small area and lookin for something different.

Let me know if anyones gonna ride tomorrow (weather permitting of course)

I'll be at LRP on Saturday. Look for my "Lime Rock" chair right behind the telephone pole on the outside of Turn #1. AAA has discount tickets.
