CT Get Together - 8-11-07 Saturday
Hey Dave:
I saw this on the Factory Five site, is it OK that I have posted here? Did you tell the folks at Marcus Dairy we're going to be there?
Bob
Yes, this is it! The same great get together that Todd and Rich have had for the last several years in Guilford has moved.
This year the Cobra Bash will be hosted by Dave Cowin and Carl Johnson and will take place at Dave’s house in Ridgefield, CT (Todd Buttick’s home town!).
All Cobra folks are welcome and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey. If you own a Cobra, are in the process of building one or just want to see some nice cars, please stop by. There will be plenty of parking for Cobras and other vehicles.
****Note: This will be a “Shine” event only and there is no rain date. Feel free to call on the day of the party if in doubt.
Date: Saturday, August 11, 2007
Time: 12 Noon to 5 P.M.
Here’s the Plan:
Party at Dave’s from 12 Noon to 5 P.M. then a Cobra Caravan to the Saturday Night Cruise-In at Marcus Dairy in Danbury (5 miles away). Imagine the looks we’ll get when we roll in with 20-30 Cobras!
There will be burgers, hot dogs and refreshments. Bring something if you’d like and it’s O.K. if you don’t.
Note: No pig this year. If you want to eat pig, bring your own.
Dave’s address is 74 Norrans Ridge Dr., Ridgefield, CT 06877
Use Mapquest to get there and when you hit Route 35, look for Farmingville Rd. and then Norrans Ridge Dr. Follow the Cobra-shaped signs.
If you get lost, call Dave (phone # below).
Please RSVP by August 4th so we can plan for the right number of hot dogs (Bill Knight loves them).
The more the merrier so please put this on your calendar and tell your friends. This is always a great time. Let’s do this.

I'll see if I can get the day off, sounds like a fun day...I haven't been to Marcus Dairy in a while. I wonder if any other Long Islanders are up for the ride..

I have a wedding reception at 12, but I could be there by 3pm, would love to meet everyone and see all your great cars, also show off mine...lol
also would love some critisism of my car and helpful advice would be great...me being a new cobra owner, I have a lot to learn!

Earliest we would probably leave the shop is 3pm. Then on to meetup before Marcus.
