Default I find myself with a holley list 4174

Hi I recently bought a old car to restore. In the process of trying to find out what carb was on it. I found out it has a list 4174 c80f 9510-aa holley carb. Can anyone on this board help me understand what this is worth. It may help my sons and I finish out restoration and get the carb on it original platform. Thanks for any help

1968 GT500KR Carburetor C8OF-9510-AA Holley 735 CFM; List # 4174 - 4 speed cars

Valuable carb. Is the car you are working on a Mustang?

Here is a web site that wants $995 for that carb (new).

Actually we are working(my sons and I) on a 1969 roadrunner. I was Just checking the cfm. I have a friend helping instruct us on the body. I come to understand that this carb belongs on the right motor for it. I could just use it and maybe I will. But after looking for parts for our car I understand how hard some of these original parts are to find. And in some way it seems the carb should find its way back to a 428. It is in good to great shape. I would like to get enough if I sell it to get another holley for our car.

Thank you for the reply

I really love the car hobby. It is fun to bring these old classic muscle cars back to their glory. This is our first car but we all have the bug now. My boys and I love us doing this car together. But they are already talking about the next car.
