At least bthe sun came out yesterday. I went for a long ride down some roads that said "Private Property - Violators will be XXXXXXXX".
Found some nice deserted beaches. But I found a nice place for my Turtle. No road sign, but ....
About 1/4 mile in the dirt road ... a nice little pond. Turtle might even share it with the Humpin Ho Sisters.

Some of the houses that have been allowed to be built on the island should be burned to the ground. Here is a really ugly one ... thankfully its on a dirt road about a mile from any paved road.

Nice pictures Warren. That house with all of the weeds doesn't look as if it is very far above sea level. Do the weeds act as a sea wall in case of a large wave.

That house is at least 80 feet above hi tide.

A giant cement block has more good looks than this place. And note that a really good gardener must own this place. Great landscaping job.

On the other hand, some of the "modern" style homes are nice looking. I hate 95% of the monstrosities, but this one I like (make that 'don't hate').

I guess the camera angle made it look like that house was so low. I have to agree with you on the ugly. Who designed that house. A shoe box designer.
