John Kerry's 9th Anniversary

When Kerry lied to the public about his service and about his career, he forfeited any gratitude he was owed. Too many men of better character than he, have given testimony discrediting his service, his conduct while in uniform and conduct after military service.

Who verified this "better character"? The men who fought along side Kerry during the engagements he was decorated for support his story. The only people who claim different were not there. I typically don't enter into these discussions because 1) people say outrageous things behind their anonymity and 2) people tend to believe what they want to believe. Having said that but also having served 20 yrs, I just think it is reprehensible to disparage the service of any American who puts their life on the line for this country because they don't agree with my views. Politics have place, but they don’t trump everything. I signed up to defend everyone’s right to say what he or she wanted (like you and me now) and I take the good with the bad.
