Hardly... I was at a show earlier this year and overheard an SPF owner saying "For all the money I spent on this car, why the heck they couldn't get the radiator and pedals right is beyond me. What were they thinking?" |

No, but we may need an intervention in the future. He's taken a breather on the FFR "thing" and now has moved over to a CSX "thing." The SPF "thing" seems like a new "issue." |

Well, I agree with the guy. Why can't they slant the radiator and why can't they bring the pedals up from the bottom? It's two things that jump right out at you when you look at either the front or interior of the car.

Every Cobra manufacturer can't be perfect. I mean, I wish the Kirkhams would use better chrome paint on the exteriors.

How diplomatic of you. I don't like the fact that you can specifically identify the car's manufacturer from 50 yards away. That's what really separates the wheat from the chaff -- whether or not you can spot a Cobra as a specific fake from 50 yards away. |

You guys continue to amaze me with the micro-level nitpicking.
The main cross-member in the front of the engine is arguably the primary reason why the radiator is angled the way it is. I don't go sticking my head into the front ends of other Cobras that often, so I honestly don't "notice" this subtlety (although when looking at the naked Superformance frame posted above it's more readily apparent)
As for the pedals being hung versus floor mounted, I actually like it better. It gives a place to wedge my size 12's under the clutch and brake pedals when I'm cruising for distances on the freeway, creating more leg/stretch room for my 6'3" frame.
Back on topic...the ERAs are really nice cars. IF I ever swap out my SPF, it would either be in that direction or a Kirkham. Love my SPF but the bodies on the ERA and Kirkham are dimensionally closer to the real deal. That being said, most people I run into think my car is the real deal, so 99.99% of Joe Public couldn't tell the difference. And none have remarked about my wrong facing radiator (yet).

Good afternoon patients,
I see from today's read, that my ass-teemed colleges, the FETARDS are standing tall and touting their ilk. But today they are showing symptoms of a new malady
ERA-tional thinking.
I do agree with the electro-shock therapy advice. Please increase the voltage. I would say 600v is a good place to start.
