Jay,

Just a thought... Where Rt4 meets Rt7 at Cornwall Bridge is not the covered bridge which cornwall is noted for. That's in West Cornwall. That being said, it might be more interesting for those that haven't seen the bridge to go Rt4 to Rt128 through the bridge then down Rt7 through the Housatonic State Forest. There's a restaurant just before the covered bridge that is good for eats and would provide good photo opps. of the bridge.

The 17th sounds Perfect! I'm in. Todd, you smoke cigars?? If so let me know and I'll bring some on the ride. You can check out the ones I make at:

www.esenciacigar.com We just took a 9.4 in the current issue of SMOKE Magazine (shameless little plug there).

Todd,
Do you mean the Wandering Moose? I have made the change to the drive loop. I think we have the route in concrete now. If anything a possible audible on the drive date due to temps etc.

Yes, cigars and I will be there! I like Acid Blondies myself, but always open to a new smoke.
So the official time and date is the 17th @ 10:00 am at Wallingford. Is this correct? Is the 18th the rain date?

Bob,

Gonna be a nice day. Gary Nelson and I are headed out around noon for a cruise then a stop later either by land or sea at Bill's Seafood in Westbrook.

I have a significant number of confirmations over last year already. This looks to be a really good one. Hope for the weather...

Cashburn 10-09-2009 03:58 PM

Right now the weather projections look ok for Saturday. Assuming we are 50+ degrees and mostly dry.... I would like to get an idea of potential head count for the drive so we can finalize the lunch plans.

Please post your RSVP here and any +1's ...

Thanks
