Default ERA at Carlisle with new GT Spyder and improved 427

Come visit us at Carlisle. I wasn't sure that I would like the looks of the Spyder until I saw it outside (with all the body panels on at the same time...).

Lots of other stuff too.

Sorry - Didn't have time to take pictures before the car was loaded. I'll post some when we get back.

I will be there tomorrow -- let the boss/wife see all of the goodies, while I tell her I need an ERA w/427 side oiler to combat shrinkage. She will not be amused. Nor will she care particularly. Sigh.

Has anyone posted pictures of the GT Spyder or new and improved 427?

There are 2 pictures of the GT40 Spyder in my gallery.

I thought there was a 3rd one, looking at the dash, but I don't see it now. Oh well, I'm probably remembering something that never happened...

There are a few other Cobra ERA pictures as well.

I like the Spyder because my wife likes the open-air feature of the 427SC. With the Spyder, there will be no excuse for not getting a GT40. Anything said about a top for the Spyder?

No need for a top. Rain won't have time to get in if you are driving it right.

Rain is one thing. However, my purpose in going with a GT40 was to avoid getting cabin fever in the winter. Driving in the mountains during those cold winter months would be an option in an enclosed and heated GT40 cockpit. Even the wife would agree.
