I used to live in Augusta and always thought it was a shame that the track died. I wanted to see it revived, but that was a pipe dream...

Just beyond the tree line is the former track and AIR Memorial Plaza.

Street signs are being erected throughout the new development.

Dave MacDonald Drive is the main street through this large new sub division next to the former track and at one point Dave "meets" himself.

This will be a popular place for Cobra owners and their cameras.

Yellow Arrow - Memorial (behind trees)
Blue Arrow - Pit Lane
Red Arrow - Entrance to Dave MacDonald Drive
Green Arrow - Former track and entrance to pit lane.

Our non-profit organization was able to raise enough funds to increase the size of monument that sits 100 yards from Dave MacDonald Drive. Over one hundred additional driver names were added (Dave appears three times on the memorial).

When you are cleaning up the Cobra and run across those quarters and dimes please send them to us for the next planned expansion. Heck, you can tax deduct the coins.
