Bob,

For the first earlybird group its a 7am departure in nice cool air, with a quick blast down 80 with little to no traffic at this time, then taking scenic route 12 West over to Sonoma in time for Coffee & Pastry in the square. This extends the stay to make more of a day of it - if that's what you prefer. We've started later in the past, and to me it feels like you drive there, stay for a bit, eat lunch, and before you know it you are headed home again, but that works for some too. Sometimes a few will detour on the return trip home past lake-B for a cooler run back or just to extend the day. Whatever floats your boat as they say...

EDIT:
I edited the first and post below to reflect two departure groups at two different times from two different locations for anyone who is interested in riding down with either group caravan.

Edit: Just noted and re-read John's post above. A possible 2nd run group leaving later at 08:30/9am from Starbucks in El Dorado Hills. Follow Jrmac's replies for group-2 if interested.

I'll be with the 8:30 group meeting at Starbucks. Any other folks leaving near the Sac area, we can hook up along the way. Probabaly take the back roads into Somona like we did a couple of years ago. Now if I can only get motivated to finish up my power steering upgrade.......

Maybe Photoguy can bring a Photobook of Radical Reconstruction Photos to show all what self-induced a#$, hips, full body, nose and face lift looks like during surgery.

Guys have room for one more car? I'm 50/50 because I have a dinner engagement Saturday night but I would love to come and hang but would have to leave by around 3:30PM. Not sure when we're allowed to roll the cars out.

This one is pretty informal and casual, and based on the RSVPs I've seen from John/Bob you are good to show up. As for cutting out early, its usually not a problem and we try not to let the cars get blocked in too much. Hopefully we'll see more last minute interest from the Bay Area group like we did two years ago.

Duane,
Becca and I are going to have to cancel our trip to Sonoma.
Another "attendance mandatory" event has trumped "Wine Country Classic lll".
I'm bummed!

10 Days Away until we meet in Sonoma Square May 21st.

Okay folks, I'll make another attempt at a pre-week sales pitch to see who else might be out there...Hopefully any last minute fence-sitters who have not made up their mind yet to attend or not, do decide to go. Since we don't do a lot of major 4 day events anymore in NorCal, these smaller and more frequent meetups here and there is what it is.

Hey, we are in sunny California, with Cobras and heading into probably two of the nicest and coolest weekends before the Summer Heat gets here. Don't pass this one up if you can make it. I know there are lurkers out there who don't like to reply online, but we know you will show up secretly last minute; not to worry, its safe with us here.

Hope to see you there. Looking forward to it.

Just got a notification from the North Bay and Bay Area group indicating great weather for tomorrow and more than 40+ confirmed cars, and with a few more who have not confirmed but will be showing up. Don't forget to bring a lunch, blanket or chairs...

Should be nice. If we don't see you on the way down, we'll see you there in the Square!

Duane, I was one of those last minute holdout. Won't be able to make it this year, make sure someone takes a lot of pics, that way I can see what I missed out on. The weather should be perfect, everybody drive safe and have a good time
