Default Salute to american Graffiti - May 19, 20, 21

The Salute to American Graffiti 2011 is on May 19,20,and 21. I went last year in the daily driver just as an outing for the day. It was huge and apparently sold out in 2 or 3 days as it already has this year. They have a ton of activities above and beyond the normal car show.

I've spoken to several BACC guys and I guess quite a few are going on Sat and (or) Sunday because it's in their back yard.

As I said, the show is sold out but it's one worth attending if you are up to the drive. Here's a link........

We all wanted to be as cool as John Milner, or at a minimum have Milner's duece coupe.

Tom, you're right, it is a great show and a good time. Barb and I also went last year. We had a blast. Unfortunately, we can't make this year's event. Drat! We'll have to miss this year's Sonoma gathering as well. Double Drat! Oh well, maybe next year.

Jim,

We're in the same boat as you.... we will be on the Oregon Coast for a few weeks and will miss this as well as Sonoma (which is always a blast). So Drat! and Double Drat here too

Phil,
The Oregon Coast has to be some consolation though, right?
I'll be consoled as well, in that we'll be visiting the Grand Canyon, Santa Fe and Albuquerque during that time. Should be great trips right?

Jim,

You do have a very valid point. I'll be interested to hear about your trip - sounds like a good one.... right time of year too.

It's the coolest duece there is and quite simple by today's hot rod standards.
I like it better that way too.

I have a 1:18 diecast model of Milners yellow coupe and Falfa's black 55 Chevy on a shelf in front of a black and white photo taken of the two cars staged at Paradise Rd during filming.
