Default Cappuccino Cruisers - Folsom Skipolinis cruise in

Maria and I went last night to the Cappuccino Cruiser's weekly cruise-in at Skipolini's in Folsom - this is practically across the street from Mel's.

There were some very nice cars there (just one Cobra ) and a lot of nice folks. Ray and Chris that run the event were very welcoming and it was a very relaxed kind of deal. We had a good time and will definitely go back.

The Cappuccino Cruisers

They do these every Wednesday from 5-9pm

Default Our 1st Folsom meet up spot.

Rob,

Look familiar? Very cool. it's the exact same lot where we held the very first NorCal Cobras meet up in Folsom ten years ago. This photo was taken 2004.

As I recall, we had a great turnout for our first actual large-group Folsom meet up. A few folks from the Bay area and Central Valley came up too that day. Good Cobra times back then too.

Guys,
Can you see who was there? I can... Phil, Steve, others

Very cool!

I wish I'd been there. Even though I'm a late comer, I gotta say I'm loving every bit of this whole thing. Thanks for the throwback.

Long live the Cobra and car fun!

It's all good, Rob. In fact, some folks came and went in the mid years, BUT most of the originals who attended back then are still here and still come to the monthly Cobra breakfasts. The newer folks such as yourself bring new ideas, new suggestions of places to drive to and see, sharing cool new cars we all like to see.

I heard this Friday is the Sacramento Vintage Ford monthly show--this is usually a very well attended event--over 200 cars. Then the following Thursday is the Mel's show on the 3rd. For those not sure Skipollini's is on the corner of Folsom blvd and Blue Ravine rd.

Might be something to do before the heat hits hard. Too bad it starts so early (4pm).

Maria and I went again last night. The weather was perfect! It looked like it might rain but never did. About the same turnout as last time with some very nice cars in attendance.
