I'll probably make it, not sure about a drive though. Installing hardwood, base boards, dish washer, new TV, etc, etc............ I'm bleeding $$$$$$

Hope you all had fun. Wish I could have come, but I had to make an early am visit to Gilroy to pick up an engine for another project.

Maurice,
Sorry, I didn't see this earlier. Nothing too exciting to you guys who drive "hairy-chested big block V8s" I just picked up the original motor to a 1968 Porsche 912 Targa that I've had for years. Haven't driven it much, I keep blowing up the motors :O. I guess it wanted its original heart back. Anyway, the owner is moving, and decided to sell it to me.
I've already put it in and drained the old oil. This weekend I'll try to drain the stinky gas out of the tank and get 'er back on the road.
I miss driving with the wind blowing through my hair.

Hi Guys,
I definitely would have joined you all today if I had been in town. I am in Detroit for the Woodward Dream Cruise with a friend. I'm not writing this to boast about being here, but genuinely wish all of you old school Ford racing guys could be here to enjoy this event. I was at a Ford dealership today that had at least eleven cars lined up in a row with Cammers in them. I have been to many car/hot rod events over the past 50+ years, and this by far eclipses any thing I've been to. I really hope that any of you that wants to see this has an opportunity to do it.
See you all next month.
Ted

Hi Ted,
Saw Jerry with his '32 at Cars & Coffee this morning. He was telling me about your trip and the Cammers all lined up - nice!!! Have a great time and post some photos!

We typically get together on the 3rd Saturday (last weekend), unless there is something going on I am unaware of.
