Default NorCal Breakfast

I would like to get out next Sat (9/30) or Sunday (10/1) morning for a breakfast run somewhere. My first thought was the Starlite Café in Foresthill (only open on Saturday) http://www.starlitecafe1.com/ , however, I don't know if that is suitable due to the fire up in that area.

Does anyone have any knowledge of conditions in Foresthill, other suggestions, or any interest in joining in?

Sounds good to me. My car is getting cobwebs under it from lack of use. Even the battery went south.

Might want to check on the Cafe. I thought someone said it had closed?

So are you guys going on Saturday or Sunday? If you happen to go on Sunday, John Marsey may come up too. Let me know. Duane

Phil,
Is Starlite Cafe' the place we went before across from the Market?

If so, maybe you can call and see if they don't mind us taking over the lot across the street like last time; it was great parking over there.

If you guys go this Saturday, I may be able to attend with KMP357. You'll have to give me directions though.

I'm thinking Saturday since the Satrlite is closed on Sunday (Al - I called and they are open). Probably leave Roseville 8'ish.

Phil, since this is up 80, do you have a place in mind to meet over near your way? Pick a place/time and post and I'll pass it along. What time do we need to be at Starlite Cafe?

If not, I may just stop at the Starbucks in Granite Bay on the way up on Auburn Folsom Rd. Let us know... DC

Jasper's in Rocklin 4820 Granite Dr, Rocklin, CA 95677 (map http://maps.citysearch.com/location/1227240) @ 8:30 AM Saturday..... meet any others at the Chevron at Foresthill Rd exit around 9-9:15.

I haven't made any special arrangements with the cafe because I hadn't gotten any real indication of "takers".

DC - just saw your other post.... yes, Wonton Market is across the street. I don't think parking there is a problem if we stay away from their main entrance.

Al,

No problem, $hit happens. I'm just planning on a leisurely drive and was wondering if anyone else was interested in the opportunity to enjoy the fall weather. Sounds as if thudmaster and dcooney will make it.... if others decided Saturday is a good day for them, well then, the more-the-merrier (and MUCH louder!!!!)

See you in October.

OK new plan for my car. My son and his wife will be driving it. They will be there for the breakfast still.

Hi guys,

This is the weekend for the 10th annual Snakes to the Lake trip.

Just a heads up that there will be 50+ Cobras moving through your space starting Friday morning.

Tony,
I know... ahhhhhh...some of us wanted to drive up for the day but didn't want it to be perceived as crashing the party as a result of not being able to sign up and stay...

You guys will have a great time! See Ya.
