Breakfast - August 18
No time like the present to get something set-up for next (3rd of the month) Saturday. Unless someone has a better idea, I have a couple of suggestions. Mom's Cafe in Colfax or Teal Bend off the Garden Highway.

Had a few people calling wondering if you guys have decided on a place/drive, etc. I referred them to your starter thread here. Please reply if you choose a meeting spot/time/drive details. I'll call them back to let them know. I would like to go, but have a local motorcycle swap meet to attend; maybe next time. Take some pics and let us know how it goes. :) |

I'm up for either of the places I threw out (Colfax or Teal Bend GC). The only positive reply I've seen so far was from Pat, so I've been holding off till Thursday to see if there are anymore takers. It isn't going to be too hot, which makes for a fun drive. I'm leaning toward Mom's Cafe in Colfax, but I'll need a count if there are more than a couple cars. |
Looks like Steve and I were positing at the same time. Teal Bend is good too.... let's see if we get more votes for either location..........

Okay, I'm going to make an executive decision - Last month was a river destination, so let's try the hills this month.
Meet at Mom's Kitchen @ 9:30 AM 1516 So. Canyon Way Colfax 530-346-2599 I'll need a count to make arrangments for parking and seating. So far the only really strong "I'll be there", has been from Randall. Randell Enstrom 2 Phil 2 Duane 2 Jdog 1 I'm going to go up Auburn/Folsom Rd to Auburn. I'll be at Starbucks at Douglas and Auburn/Folsom (in Raley center - NW corner) at 8:30 if anyone wants to meet and head up to Auburn and then I-80 to Colfax. |
