I agree that its not the best place to go for breakfast... but I hope we can agree on the later time of 9:30 am. I liked the Golf Course (Castle Oaks) in Ione.... nice drive with great roads...

That is a very scenic drive - great suggestion Ron! I also like the 9:30 time slot for getting together for the drive. Count Kathy & I in, we will even bring the painted car !!

Sounds good to me, all we need is a place and parking lot that can handle some cars. Personally I prefer the Waffle Barn in Folsom to Mels, but that's me. I'm just there to: 1. Meet up, 2. give Jim his magazine, 3. hear some Cobras drive in, 4. get something to eat, 5. watch Cobras start up, make noise, 5. Watch the Cobras drive away, making more noise.

OK...How about we meet at Manderes at around 11:00 AM.

Plenty of time to for the weather to warm up and this is their normal open time. We socialize for at least one hour, (plenty of parking) the kitchen is open for their full lunch menu and those who chose, can enjoy one of the many hand crafted beers available.

If this is good for everyone, I will set it up.

What say you??
