Gonna have to miss this one. Son has a big karate tournament at the Stockton Convention Center. Probably catch everyone at the Perry Creek event in September. Have fun without us......

Did you get your clutch fixed? What was the problem?

Going to have to pass - I'm dropping the car off at Ken Pike's tomorrow to get a blem taken care of. Hard to say at this point how long he will have it.

Hey Ron, Yep the clutch tightened up over the last 5000 miles. I adjusted the slave and it's fine now.

363 Green Valley Road in El Dorado Hills. (916) 425-9697

Someone might want to call ahead to make reservations there can be a long wait on the weekends for breakfast. But worth the wait.

Uwe,
Good idea. If you recall, Purple Place is where we met you the first time with the Cobras, many years ago.... We were thinking... Funny German guy with a Cobra? Hahahahah.

Hey, you can ask PP if they get full, if they'll allow overflow to eat in the bar area as another option. Just a thought.

I've had my eye on a cobra for almost ten years. Went to Hot August Nights last week and it sparked my interest again.Ten years ago I had the money but no garage. Now I have the garage and the money part...maybe. I'll be driving up from SF on my way home to Elk Grove Saturday morning and I'll make the detour and stop by. I'll be the one drooling over the cars.

I would like to meet all of you there but harvest is just around the corner. Also just a reminder that the Yuba College Car Show hosted by our Auto club will be Saturday Oct. 3rd. at the campus. I'm sure you all remember we were rained out the first weekend of May. Same deal, lots of raffle prizes and trophies. Great food prepared buy our Culinary school. You can contact Gil at 530-741-6810 or me at 530-741-6930.

Bring whatever hotrod or Cobra that you have. Weather should be cooler.

Hope to see you all there and maybe my car might be close to being finished.

Don

I'm gonna show up just to hear Tom's exhaust! I've been wanting some better pipes for a long time, just not sure the same guys would be willing to make a set for an FFR with a 460.

See you guys Saturday.
