He is an expert driftrer, had the perfect set-up at the track, and he trashed the car with reckless abandon. With that said, it's all movie magic, plenty of retakes, splice & dice...but still very cool. Perhaps some of the NASCAR drivers should practice drifting to make the cup more interesting and fun to watch. 
Ya, I could do some of those move with my cobra but I'd be in the ditch really fast.
