				 Well.....
.... is anyone out driving their Cobra in the dry weather we are having?
I took mine out last Wednesday (12/2) for a short spin just to charge the battery and warm up the fluids. It was only 42 degrees out, but it was not that bad for a short 15 mile ride.

 Down here in Chilly California
I went out today for about a 1/2 hour drive. I haven't been out in about a month. It was pretty late in the afternoon, about 4:30 with temps near 40 degrees. I had recently replaced some coolant hoses and HAD checked them (evidently not well enough). Got out in the country and got on it pretty good and midway through 3rd gear blew a hose off. Needless to say it was a mess and I sat by the side of the road as it got dark waiting for my son to bring water, I had the tools with me. No fun, fortunately no damage; just a mess that needed to be cleaned up.

I must say the weather was great last week when I was in Seattle, clear sky and snow showing on the hills, I arrived home then took the FIA for drive to Akaroa and back, sorry to say but it was 26deg C. |

The other Jim (Race-it) is the one that sold his car. I still have mine and I'm willing to freeze my azz off on 1-1-10.

 Polar Bear Dip
 Friday, January 1, 11:00 a.m. - Gene Coulon Park
Join us at Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park and start the new year with a quick dip into the icy waters of Lake Washington at the swimming beach. Why would you do it? Some say it’s to try something new for the new year, others say it’s the atmosphere of the event. Whatever the reason, it’s sure to be fun! No registration is necessary. A lifeguard will be on duty. Call 425-430-6700 for information.
