Andy, I know its probably on another thread, but where the hell do I send the check.
And how much for driver and a passenger, if I get lucky.

One continuous thread would be good.
Thanks for taking this project on.

Tim we would like to make a run up your way this summer Mt Baker sounds good. Gary e mail me and said he would be in townthis week to see his dad. We where hoping to have lunch but i havent heard from him yet.

Ouch! My guess is the stunt I pulled outside the gates three or four years ago, never made it to the officials. Now for what happened inside, that is another story. That being said...I will be on my best behavior this year. My $10,000 track day has curbed my neeed to go hog wild.

How does this work on the track? Anyone with a Cobra (or suitable wheels) can take a few laps? Are there any driver experience requirements? When I looked at the website there were driver qualification requirements. It sounds like a lot of fun, but maybe too much fun. Oh my!

		Ward
This is not a free for all and you are not on the track alone. If you can drive your car to the event and in the Car corral you can drive with the other drivers. This called a parade lap, you can't pass the lead car or in fact any other car. They tell everyone not to fall back and then give it WOT but we all do. Watch the car in front of you and you will get the idea.

As a kid, I can recall feeling like I had to stand on the gas pedal to get every ounce of speed out of my 289. I've only had the pleasure of owning a Cobra for 77 days and I have not found the the hard stop of the gas pedal! WOT is something I've yet to experience! I can't wait!

I'll do some planning and get back with you. The June 15th race looks interesting too. I'm probably not ready for that. I've been to Skip Barbour school and a driving school in Sonoma so I'm not totally inexperienced. Maybe a little conservative, yes!

		NW Cobra,
We have 11 Cobras on Sat. 1 weekend pass, driver and rider, two aduilt day passes, one aduilt weekend pass. I well be sending in the checks this week. When I get the tickets I well hand them off to to Fred Hamilton to pass out. Fred well have a plan to meet up on Sat. and go in as group. Perry well be coming from BC and well not get to the track tell 9am. Also Jeff White is going all three days and I well mail Jeff and Perry tickets to them if I get them in time. Yes Fred has two Cobras on Sat. As they say the checks in the mail.

Highlights, no not our track driving, Sovern is honored to have the legendary racer Augie Pabst as special quest this year.Pabst drove a variety of cars Ferrari, Porsche,Maserati,Jag. AC Bristo and Triumph. Padst won two USAC road racings Championships 2 Scca National Championships and fourth place finish at Le Mans.. The pace car driver well be Dominic Dobson.
The nice news is we rise 495.00 for Seattle Childrens Hospital. Thank you as its a special thing to me having lost three family members to Cancer.
