				 A tearful goodbye
I want say goodbye to all my Cobra friends. My car has been sold and will be heading to the east coast at the end of the month. I've met some great people along the way and lost two great friends, Steve & Andy. To all the Northwest Cobra gang, I'm sure I'll bump into a few of you at the local car shows. Will you still talk to me if I'm in my Corvette?
Take care, Jim |

Damn Jim, I hate to see this, but then I'm also happy for you as I know you needed the space for your next project.
Best of luck to you and hope to see you in the future.

hey Jim-I'll still talk to ya-I'm an ex vette owner ('89 roadster/'72 LT1 t top and Marque club member) care to share how you advertised your car? I got a beautiful boat I'm selling but no luck so far/need a better advertising plan.

 Thanks guys.
John, Don't listen to anyone who says "size doesn't matter". Big blocks are cool.

Bob, I've had my 60 Corvette for 35 years and I'm now restoring a 1 owner 65 coupe. I really needed more room. I put the car on Cobra Country and received 2 full price offers in less than 6 hrs.

It was great seeing you both at Shelton a few weeks ago. I hope that wasn't our "summer".

 Jim

I hate to see you go. Your car was really nice! I'm glad to see things work out for you.

Jim, glad to hear that you got the car sold. Cobra Country is amazing. You are always welcome at the Cobra events....even if your distributor is on the wrong side of the engine. Stay in touch buddy.
 Jake

It was great to hang with ya Jim. Corvetts are cool too. In 1982 I almost bought a '72 454 T top car. I got married instead. Wish I would have bought the car.
I'm sure we'll see you around.
Take care,

Ray

There is no reason for you to leave
jwd Jim we also have cobras and vettes on the east. Last time I check vettes are fiberglass too. It's just a different body style. As far as I know there is only a couple of ways to leave this forum, Brent ends your membership, no computer, or you are on a visit to another demension, sitting on a cloud or working a heat furnace. Don't be a stranger and stay around for the fun. Rick L. |

Jim-don't want to hijack this thread but thanks also for the opinions on the Holley street avenger carb-I put the 670 on my car-changed out the main jets power valve and secondary spring and what a difference-runs cleaner and starts without the choke and I'm getting 18MPG around the canal twisties too.

				 A Fine Car Indeed
Jim,You built one heck of a car. I am not at all surprised you were able to sell it quickly. Best of luck with your Corvette. I have had a few of those myself.

Kind of a sad moment when it was loaded up today but on the bright side, today is my first official day of retirement.

				 your old Hurricane
 Hi Jim
I am sure you are aware but couldnt believe I saw your old Hurricane on Cobra Country for 52k originally 55k. You sold it for one heck of a deal. At any rate saw your vette out at the fox island yacht club event but didnt see you, maybe another car show. How is the latest project progressing? RW
