We had a great time & the weather was perfect! Thank you Dbl Barrel for getting us out to play. Too bad some of the Cobras were not running. At least Bob & Mary came anyway even though they had to suffer in their vette. It was neat meeting Cobra Dad, too. He was pretty darned excited when we got to the 1st stop.

Well it's with a deep sadness that I inform everyone here that the Cobra is gone.
After last Saturday, by the time I got home my back was hurting pretty good. By Sunday morning I was having difficulty walking. So after 5 years and 2 days it's gone. However we will never forget the good times we had with it, and the great people we met. So take care everyone. And if you see an old fart in a yellow C5 Corvette wave at you, it's probably me. |

Holy smokes! John, you are a man of action! How did you sell your Cobra so quickly? Sorry to see you go and hope your back recovers and you are back in the seat of a new Cobra quickly!
Tetelle and I are up for a run as our Cobra has brand new rear wheel bearings and is running again! Is there a back way or round about way to drive around Stanwood, Camas (?) Island or Samish Island? |
