Thumbs up New Wilwood Brakes

Been out of commission for awhile and missed a couple Griot's weekends. Had my brakes worked on right after Whistler. The shop totally screwed them up. So I decided to install Wilwood front 6 piston Superlites and rear 4 pistion Dynalite Pros. The Cobra now stops on a dime. What a difference. I haven't bedded in the brakes yet. But I would bet it only gets better. I purchased the brake kits from Gordon Levy (Levy Racing) out of Arizona.

Would be interested to know if you have 15" rims and if so I could call Levy Racing or Wilwood for part # if you don't want to take time . Thanks in advance for your reply. Ready to replace brakes myself is why i'm interested.

I don't think the brakes will fit on 15" he has options though. I had Gordon put WilWoods on my car with 15" and they are by far the best part of my car on the track!

I have 17" wheels. I do know Gordon does have kits that fit 15" wheels.

Something I need to think about too. I have 4 wheel disc brakes, but its all original Ford stuff. Pacific Raceway wasn't too bad, but at the Ridge in Shelton, hauling her down from a buck 35 on the long straightaway, the brakes started going away after 3 laps. Gets pretty spooky when you cant stop :-(

I have 15" Trigos and Wilwood brakes from Gordon. Very happy with their street performance.
