While you are waiting for John to finish your car I thought it would be a good time to break in that 427 SO (break down??). I asked John to let me borrow it for a spell. After all I figure that you wouldn't want all that iron to rust. He did indicate that it was available until late August.........2003.

What have you really heard for the delivery of the car??

I have been planning on a trip there. But, after the January trip I cannot seem to get away. Somewhere my 427 roller sits waiting for me to give the go ahead, and I'm just waiting for Alan Greenspan to give the go ahead to the market. Hmmmm, hope something happens soon. At times it is a little frustrating to be waiting for a car that was ordered December 2000 and going to be delivered Feb 2001. (only later did I put on the brakes).
see ya later,
Keith

Unhappy Status

Keith,

I posted a note to you under Bish's Tire post before I saw your post to me.

Have not spoken to John since late last week, actually it was Michael I talked to. He indicated that he was going to deliver your car back to you (so I assume yours is done, but maybe I shouldn't) and pick up Walt's 289 for some work either this past week or next. He has my headers finished and is suppose to drop them off here in town for jet-coating during that trip, either on his way up or back down.

I was down right after your car was dropped off to see what progress was done to mine. There has been some delay with a redesign of the footbox, front suspension and motor mounts, that's finished and done now.

Planning on calling him Monday or Tuesday to see what's new. Maybe I will run down next Saturday. Would like to come up and meet some of the gang on Sunday but if I go south on Saturday then I for sure would not drive up on Sunday. (wife would go crazy on me )

At this point I really don't know what to think about ETA. I will die if it is not ready when weather clears! I really think it is going to be sweet when done, just when is anyone's guess.

Mike

Have you herd from John?

Thanks, Mike

Red face Doh!

Bish,

Between you and my wife it's a good thing everyone is watching out for me!

It's lonely at the ol' bar stool without a good drinking partn'r

Guess i was thinking in the back of my mind, if I offer to buy a round for the house I might get off cheeper on Sunday!

Thanks, Mike
