Meeting place for Historics vintage races
In the past we've met at Denny's in North Bend, eaten breakfast. and caravanned to the track. I thought that worked out pretty well. Any other ideas?
I got the tickets in the mail today along with an info sheet. They suggest arriving at the car corral between 8:30 & 10:30. Earlier is better to stake out our territory.

Also, per our discussion the other day, I volunteered seats in the Cobras for kids during the parade laps. I haven't heard back yet. SOVREN already has a deal where car corral participants take track workers along on the parade laps. If the kid thing doesn't pan out, please consider offering the track workers a seat in your Cobra. These folks are all volunteers who work their butts off to provide a safe, entertaining event for all of us.

Is 7:00 (AM) in your vocabulary? We need time to eat breakfast and get to the track.

				 Breakfast Meeting
Rich,Last year about five car met in Issaquah for breakfast. Then went down Issaquah-Hobart Rd. to 18. It should be at least 15 mins. closer so Bish could catch another half hour of sleep.

I agree it would be nice to get there early and get a good place to park. I can make Denny's @ 6:30. If a few of us get to the track early, we can save parking spots for those coming later.

 Bish,
Bish, if you're late, you have to park with the Miata Club.

Roger, 6:30 works for me. The gates at Pacific Raceways (SIR) open at 8:00.

				 Bish,
Not to worry. Bish, go ahead and sleep in - I'll save you a spot!
How they treat you after all you've done.

And besides everyone knows that Miatas are not powered by Bow-Ties.

I could not remember the place that we ate breakfast last year before the Vintage Races held during the 4th July weekend. I do recall that it was not Denny's. Looked up some old threads and found it!
Julia's in Gillman Village in Issaquah. As I recall the food was good, service was quick and we took a nicer ride through Main Street in Issaquah.

If you want to have breakfast there I think Bish could sleep an extra 30 minutes. God knows he does need his beauty sleep.

 What do you think?

If we make it at 7, figure 45 minutes for breakfast, 30-40 minutes drive time, we're there by 8:30....??

7:00 it is. That'll give me an extra half hour to touch up rock chips from the GICR.

Paul is getting home from working in Alaska earlier than we thought. Is there any chance of us joining up with you for the Historics Races at this late date?At the very least we will try to meet you for breakfast and drive down there with you all, just for fun!
 Thanks
