Unhappy Just so you guys know....

I'll not likely have the car again this year, so the northwest events may be with my Fiat again. Still dealing with engine troubles (things are hosed, so it'll be a LOT more money than I had hoped). everyone do yourselves a favor and stay away from the shop you all know caused me sooooo much grief.

Just getting this out of the way now so I don't have to explain later when my car is MIA again.

I'm depressed.

Unhappy

Sorry Brent, that is truly a bummer--we don't get a lot of good driving weather here as it is--saw your other post and I'll ask my mechanic (a Ford guy) if he knows of any out there in good condition and reasonable.

Brent,

Sorry to hear that the motor is still in a mess. You have the patience to deal with that. I would most likely have been in that shop with a baseball bat by now. I am going to talk to a man I know today who may know ehere there is a stock 390 that is supposed to be in good running condition. If so, would you be interested ? I can help with the sipping just to get your car on the road. That all depends on what this motor is like as I will look at it also if it this man tells me it is still for sale.

Ron

Brent,

Whats the word on the engine? Are you going to have to get a new block? Whats up?

Matt

Thanks guys....Ron, I may follow up later with you, as I am pondering my options at the moment.

Matt, the engine is in good hands right now with George Anderson. He's found numerous problems with the other builders work, and I am going to pursue that end. It's just that it takes time for that, so I will not likely have the car on the road this year unless I consider other options.....

Things eventually have a way of working out, so I just gotta hang in there.

Unhappy Brent that sucks...

I think I have seen you in the Fiat more than the Cobra, but just so the members do know I have seen Brents Cobra running.

I must be one of the few, so sorry Brent.

I know I have driven the Fiat more. I really do love that little car!

Most people probably have forgotten I even own a Cobra, but I do have pictures should anyone want proof.
