Arrow Puget Sound Cobra Run May 15 - Rescheduled to June 5

From FFCobra:

Ok, gang, I'm throwing out a date here to gather interest in a run on Sunday, May 15. Meeting time would be around 11 am at a location central to whomever is planning to come. Plan would be to leave at 11:30, cruise for 1.5 hrs to somewhere for lunch at 1 pm, then another 1-2 hrs in the afternoon with stops at scenic locations (with bathrooms and nearby gas stations!).

As such, I need the following posted to the forum:
1. name, email and phone number (mobile preferred) of who would like to attend
2. suggestions for scenic and Cobra-friendly routes and points of interest.
3. suggestions for casual lunch spots that could accommodate us

Those experts from the Cascade Cobras please chime in with any tips for a successful run! You all are cordially invited as well!

From FFCobra: (BTW this is not an FFR only cruise, anyone is welcome)

Looks like 60% chance of rain Sunday. Run looks doubtful. How are these reschedule dates:

Sunday, June 5
Saturday, June 11 or
Sunday, June 12?

Mark

The cruise has been rescheduled:

We've decided to reshedule the May 15 run to Sunday, June 5 starting at the same location: Krispy Kreme in Issaquah. Let's shoot for 10 am, assuming James Martell can make it by then. I'll fine tune the route, based on the Porsche Owner's Club route.

Again, all members of this group/forum are welcome to come even if you don't have a Cobra or one that's finished. I'll post final time and route details in the next couple of weeks, but we'll end up at Traxx (go-karts) in Mukilteo for lunch so you can plan to meet us there if you like.

Please pray with me for sun on June 5!

Mark

New thread on FFCobra:
http://www.ffcobra.com/cgi-bin/ultim...t/000965.html?

150 views, no replies except me passing new info. You guys don't want to go on a cruise? Do I smell? Is it because I don't own a Cobra? I will be driving one, so that should count for something. I know Jake is planning on going from the other thread, but I can't believe nobody else wants to go.

Come on guys! It is time to wipe the dust off the cars and burn some expensive gasoline.

Dust the car off, I just put 1800 miles on the car so I have more than just DUST to wipe off. My back side should be ready for another ride by the 5th. The car is going out to PR on the 8th for a little track time.

Start a new thread with the June 5th date. Otherwise is looks like an old thread. I would love to take my car on it's inaugural cruise with other Cobra owners but due to an incredible amount of orange peel and my buffing through it down to the gel coat I will be prepping it for re-painting on 11 June. Weather looks good though. Have fun all

Jake I was wondering if I could follow you up there since I have no clue where in the world we are meeting.

Default Sunday

Matt,

I have no problem with us heading up together. That would make 4 cobras going from the south sound area. I am watching the weather very close. At this point it does not look good. It sounds like we will wait till Saturday to call it.

Matt, I just got word that the run has been cancelled. The weather does look to be a little on the stormy side.
