Default Cobras for sale in the PNW?

Hello,

I'm a newby to the site...I've been researching, reading, and sitting in a few (SPF, Shell Valley, etc). At 6'4" I'm not willing (not yet anyway) to fly across the country to buy one for fear I won't fit, or I'll get there and it won't be built well. I would head to Reno next weekend but it is my son's 9th birthday and...

Anyway if you guys know of any locally I'd love to find out about them (before they ship it to Kentucky like the last one I wanted to buy...). I'd like to spend under 40k, ideal would be a 351 or larger engine & 5sp. Prefer lower miles and built well. I have preferences...but frankly my main concern is that it be well constructed, cared for, fairly priced, and that I fit.

I am looking for one I can drive on a semi-regular basis on those sunny Seattle days (thus the reason I say semi...instead of regular...).

I have sat in enough to know I can modify most so that I am not viewing the top of the windshield framework...but would love to find one that is comfortable to get in and out of as well...

Thanks - I appreciate any insight you might have.

Where bouts do you live. I have a Superformance and live in Tacoma and may be able to help.

Cory,
I have some real good info for you on this subject that I think you would really appreciate, especially since you are such a big guy. Too much to discuss here.

Try Park Place Autos in Bellevue. They always have a couple of Cobras in stock and you can test drive them all. They tried to get me to consign my Cobra last year but mine is not for sale. Good luck.

Thanks - I've been to Park Place...they only have one used SPF...nice car though... I've been working too much to stop in for a drive. I did drive an NAF the other day though... I get it now...the car was way way too small for me but WOW what a blast to drive! I knew I wanted one of these...now I need one!
