Default NW caravan to WSCB...What's the plan this year?

I have the time off this year so don't have to rush in and out like the last time around and plan on driving the Cobra....Now if I can stay out of the hospital this time around....

When are people planning to head down? I'm just sort of thinking about the possibility of making it a lazy run down vs. all in one shot, but want your thoughts.

Thinking about leaving Wednesday and making it down to Seven Feathers Casino in Canonville Oregon (about half way), staying the night and then crusing in the rest of the way the next day. Thoughts?

Brent:
There are about a dozen of us from Cascade Cobras will be heading down from Portland, Salem and Eugene/Springfield. We'll probably drive down on the 17th and return on the 20th. About half of us will be trailering and half will be driving.
I expect we'll firm up departure times, routes etc in the next couple of weeks since we have a club meeting next Sat. and will start putting things together from that point.
I'll try to keep you up to date as things develope. You can also track a lot of the activity and planning if you monitor the Northwest FFR web site (http://www.ffcobra.com/cgi-bin/ultim...=0;DaysPrune=0)

Brent

As of now Steve and I haven't come up with a firm date. It may be Wed afternoon or early Thur. If we leave on wed we will spend a night on the road,if its Thur it looks as if we will drive straight thru. We could always do the Canonville stop, will talk with steve about it.

Brent:
Some of us are going down on Wed. and some on Thur. One of our Wed. group will be staying in Klamath Falls on Wed. evening and going the rest of the way on Thu. due to a bad back that limits how long he can sit in his car at one stretch. The rest of the Wed. group (3 or 4) will be going straight through. Some may be driving their cars and some will be trailering (final weather call on Tue. evening for at least one who may drive his car if weather looks reasonable and trailer if not). Wed. route will be I5 to Eugene, 58 to K Falls and then 139 and 395 into Reno/Sparks. Mapping it out looks like 11 or 12 hours so we'll be leaving fairly early in the A.M. on Wed. Ditto for the Thu. group.

DonC - We are trailering down from Snohomish WA, leaving Tuesday to see family in Redmond OR and then spending Wed night in Klamath Falls with more family, then on to Reno Thursday via 139 to Susanville and 395 to Reno. Fun road - too bad we're trailering it!

Maybe we could ink up in K Falls with the Thursday group?
