Well this is a little of the subject but I say take the most of the people in the prison and drop them of in Iraq and Aghanistan and say good luck. This frees up money in two ways we can bring most of the forces hope and we do not have to house and feed these losers any more. Take all of the whiners, ilegals, people that do not like it here, most welfare recipitants{ones that can work and the lazy} and ship them all back to where they came from. This would free up another hugh amount to put toward the debt. So we have know gotten rid of most of the leaches on the government. We then pass a new law that if you do not work or did not work in the past and pay taxes you do not get to vote. I have no problem helping the people that need it but we have people that are not even citizens spitting out babies for free, going to school for free and getting welfare. This is just crazy **** and I do not know how it happens.
When we landed on this place, if you did not work you did not eat unless your family took care of you. Now we have a bunch of people that think they are owed everything for nothing. It is totally out of hand and this is why most Democracies only last about 200 years before they come apart. Sorry for my spelling but you get the point.
The liberals have had nothing to complain about the last four or five years so they all get on the planet deal. Just a bunch of idiots with to much time on there hands. As a democrat I take offense at many of the comments in this thread. You need to understand that the majority of "conservatives" in office are only concerned with one thing - serving monied interests and making fat cats fatter. They don't give a flying f*%k about us. Of course the bill is flawed & a totally stupid idea, but don't blame democrats. Blame bad reasoning. As for being a monied interest you bet, we all should be. Take your wimpy little cars out of our way, I have log trucks headed to the mill and they are slowing us down. Some of the best people I know are blue collar conservatives that don't give a whack about anything but feeding a responsible family. Barakass Hussain Obuma. He stated that a tax roll back is in his plan to pay for his socialist redistribution of monies from those that work to those that don't. He defines "The Rich" as those families that make over $75k annually. Sounds to me like he is after the vote of the cities as they will be the beneficiary of my hard earned tax dollars.

I am guessing that the tax mentioned in this tread is another way to redistribute cash from those with it to those that don't.

To get back to the topic of this thread........

I grew up in the N.W. until lured away by big money in Alaska during the pipeline construction. I haven't been back since, except to visit friends and cruise the San Juan's.

That neck of the woods has turned completely Liberal Democrat since I left and I don't like what it has become. They are looking to tax anything they can to fund stupid entitlement programs that do nothing more than keep them in office for another term. The poor don't, and shouldn't, run this country. The workers do, and they are the ones these liberals just fall over themselves inventing ways to tax them more. This falacy that the "rich" (Barack's $75k and up is a joke) need to be taxed more is just a class warfare argument meant to anger the poor people that vote for liberal Democrats and keep them in office.

History has shown that Socialism doesn't work. Just look at what Castro has had to do to keep people on his utopian island! Most can't wait to get off if they can, so they can live a life free from Socialism.

I remember that the wizards in Olympia voted to tax boat owners more because they could afford to own one, now they want to tax people that own cars with "big" motors. As if that is going to solve their problem.

Perhaps they should re-examine the lack of Oil Refineries in Washington that could take advantage of the Alaska crude oil that could easily get there. If they voted for building a few of those that could refine sour crude, the residents of Washington would benefit. Novel concept!
