What did Iraq have to do with Terrorism? I am all for pursuing terrorist.. We should be all over Afganistan and Pakistan. There was no Alqueada in Iraq until after we got there.

Do the math: $3 Trillion + 3000 Dead Servicemen + 30,000 wounded Servicemen = $4/gal Gas (it doesn't ad up to me but apparently it does for Exxon) (All in the name of insuring a supply of oil)

In my opinion if anyone should go up for war crime tribunals it should be our President GW Bush, he has butchered more Americans and Iraqies in Bagdad than Sadamm ever did.

We will be paying for this boondoggle for generations to come.

"We should be all over Afganistan and Pakistan"

That just makes too much sense.

America needs an Apollo style energy program (which we could have done with all the money that has been spent on the Iraqi war). With our ingenuity & resources we could invent a paradigm shift in the energy sector. Instead we power this country on black gooey stuff that burns.

Let's create a new energy model and thumb our noses at the Arabs and Russia (for our children's security)!

We just need someone with enough balls in the White House to get it done. Sadly most baby kissers are in deep with the big oil lobby.

Someone said in this thread that when the oil runs out in the Middle East, they will revert back to what they were 100 years ago. Not true, I've been in Dubai and let me just say, they have more $ than anyone can imagine. They are not resting. UAE and the Saudis are starting to build huge solar PV fields in the desert. Their goal? Continue to export energy.

We think we have a prosperous nation...not even close compared to them. We look like paupers. The money has been redistributed and we are not on the receiving end.

BTW, my KC 482 is shipping out next week...I'm giddy!
