The US and Israeli militaries are by far the best technology wise. That is just a plain fact. The US will continue to be on the cutting edge of innovation for the military, but I don't think that is what we really need to worry about. It is the overall state of the economy and the massive deficits and trade imbalances that currently exist as they simple cannot go on forever. True Bush II really blew it and his father knows it and has distanced himself from it, that is why Bush I never went into Iraq in the first place. I will admit that although I did not vote for either of the Bush's in any election I did support both when it was time to put the boots on the ground. The difference though is that the second time around when we went into Iraq, it was a mistake. THERE WERE NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. So instead of Bush realizing that a mistake was made and moving to admit it and keep the world, and the American people, commited to his administration, he basically keeps up with the same ole, same ole rhetoric. The man is must just be dumb or the American public dumber. I really don't know and I really don't care. I just want the next legally elected Pres. to restore some of America's honor in this world and start fixing some of these homegrown problems. Amen!

Amen brother... GlyneMeek, thank you for your insight... They even say that upper/middle class men might be the swing vote minority that decides the next election. Who would have thunk it... God Bless America.
