Question Friday Run

As Jim (race-it) so accurately stated in a previous post, Andy has come up with some very nice rides on his side of the bridges. The weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow so does anyone have some time for a run? Andy; any ideas? Both Jims? Anyone?

Let's meet at 512 Park and Ride behind McDonald's as early as we can.
I can be their anytime.
How about it Ray? and anyone else.

Matt,

Eileen is out of state for a week attending conferences, so I'll have an open seat. It will cost you a beer.

I have an open seat will cost you 3/4 of a beer! Warning! Warning! Most people prefer to be drunk when they ride with me!!!
Jim

You mentioned H1, I built hummers from Fort Lewis demolished Humvees. I bought a group of 16, made three. I equipped them with 50 Cal all radios ammo cans the works back in the good old days. I think I was the first one to have one licensed in Washington. I sold one that was in several movies (X Files) and (Ruby Ridge). One to a guy in Hawaii, and one to a military collector in Oregon. All as original. One of the good times in my life!!!!!!!!!! I had two crashed Navy A2 Intruders, One Chinook Helicopter, 5 Duce and a half's, 1 Navy Seal FAV (Chenowith) with a 50 Cal out the front and a 30 cal out the back 3 army Jeeps What a good time!!!!

Red face

The Friday night run turned out to be pretty good despite the fact that when we started out we only had two Cobras, however we ended up with an additional Cobra and a Viper.

We started at the Hwy 512 Park and Ride where Matt followed me home to park his H1 as he was leery of leaving it at the P & R. We then met Jim (race-it) and headed out to Gig Harbor for some dinner. (note to self; it's not a good idea to try to find a place to eat on a Friday evening)

For those of you who are contemplating a run with Jim, be advised that not only are you responsible for yourself but you will be burdened with being responsible for Jim as well. The man does not know how or refuses to cancel his turn signals. He will travel for miles with his blinker on; oblivious to the light on the dash. If I didn't know better, I would think he was an 80 year old resident of Ballard. If you are directly in front off him you are constantly turning your signal on and off in hope of attracting his attention.

We arrived in Gig Harbor and cruised the downtown area in hope of finding a place to eat, however being a Friday night thousands of others had the same idea. We finally ended up at the Harvester restaurant in Olympic Village where we had dinner.(good food) Matt graciously paid for our meals. Thank you Matt!

Now you would think that after finally finding a place to eat one would enjoy a good meal, a couple of beers and friendly conversation. Not with Jim in the equation. You see Jim is fixated on erectile dysfunctional meds.

As the waitress, who thank God, was very understanding and had a good sense of humour, was serving our drinks and meals she over heard Jim explaining how Levitra really extended his shocks. Needless to say Matt and I were at a loss for words. I became so flustered that I mistakenly poured some of Jim's beer into my glass after which he accused me of stealing his beer. (I'm sure Jim will come up with his own inaccurate version of this incident)

About this time Ray calls and informs us he will be at K. K. and to meet him there. We leave the restaurant without further incident and meet up with Ray, who we assume had to work late and thus missed the run to Gig Harbor. Come to find out Ray has been playing golf with his boss since noon. I think he had a premonition that Jim would be in rare form.

We left K.K. now with an additional Cobra and Matt driving a fiend's Viper on a very enjoyable run down around Ohop Lake with Jim lighting the way with his turn signals.

All considered, I was a very nice day.

Jim needs to tell me his secret for turn signal life.

Mine only last a couple hours before they get beat to death from the vibration and go out.

Steve,
I see you went to the Race-It school of story telling. Maybe he should bring his car over and I'll build him a self cancel mechanism. It's not like you can hear the flasher in these noisy things.

oh contrair mofrair Steve I did not see you "mistakenly" pour some of Jims beer into your glass! I simply saw a well thought out strategically meticulously masterminded plan to properly re-locate a neglected beverage into a better suited location. Yup thats what I saw.
It was good to be with the cobras again. The viper handled like a dream, took the bumps with ease and took off like a raped ape. But it is still nothing to the raw power of a cobra.
The dinner was good and yes the waitress was perfect to put up with you two old timers
Once I get this cobra finished and shipped to miami i will get me another one for sure

jwd,
I would be hesitant about sending Jim over to your place as it would more than likely reduce the entertainment value.

Matt,
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

With great appathy I find myself once again in literary slury of a stort story diliquent.

My intent is not to belittle my comrad, howeaver, to uphold the masculinity of all us over the age 50 Cobra drivers I must talk a little about the Birds and the Bees to Steve.

Cobra 101.
Trems often associated with Cobra's are a dirivitive of the owners themselves. Such terms given to our cars and parts reflect what we ourselves are and what we have (at least some of us). Some Cobra Owners like Steve have a replica or lets say wanta be, hope to be, wish I could be parts.

Now for your Question about my meds! Yes, I buy crates of Viagra. Most is for my Cobra (CAR) and some for me. It acts like a gas performance enhacsement. It improves fuel flow to my duel quads and stiffens up my suspension. It increases stay power even on short burst's or between light quickies, and prevents my rod from knocking. I do admit I had to go to bigger rubbers for better traction but the ride was worth it. So for your first additive I recomend you try a back road in the event you, yes even you get the big kahoonas that most of us over 50 have had for some time.

My turn signals......... I appoligize for last Friday's run. My Special Secret fuel mixture for the Cobra got mixed with my Geratol. I OD. Thus the reason I could not see my turn signals, hech, every time I went around a bend, i could only see a few guages at a time. I must raise my dash if I am to continue using VIAGRA.

Jim (From Gig Harbor) Thank you for your understanding of Steve and your defense of me. Steve is still in Cobra Puberty!!
Silverback, Now you know my secret!
Steve, The bottle that you thought was my fuel mixture really was beer. The Joke is on You!!!! And just because you see something in my passenger seat with a hat on does not mean it is a passinger!!
Warning!! Cobra MD warns of yearly sheding of skin can occur with frequent use of Dr Jims Cobra Alixer, sold in Big Mens Stores and Hemmings.
Steve could even have an entire body shed!!!! Fancy That!!!!!!!
JIm
