79 degrees and partly cloudy in the Palm Beaches today.
Looks like great weather for the next few days.
You guys in the north can eat your hearts out while I bask in the sun sipping on some sort of a cooling refreshing beverage, maybe have one of those silly umbrellas in it.
My townhouse on the intracoastal waterway is for sale for those who might want to get away from all that snow and cold.

TL
in sunny Fla for the winter

Right now it's 25 F, snowing and a forecast of 50 mph winds tonight. However there is a big pot of beef stew simmering in the crock pot, buttermilk biscuits in the oven and a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon ready to uncork. As long as we don't loose power, life is good. Having said that; I'm ready for some warm and sunny weather. The Cobra has been cooped up in the garage for to long and needs to stretch it's legs.

THe Grand Canyon reported a temp of -7F this morning. All that stuff you said you were going to do when hell froze...?? It's time to start giving it some serious thought.

About 10 degrees here & a foot of snow with another foot on the way tomorrow with 50mph winds. Yeah, I'm ready for spring!

It's -2 here.. 5-9 inches of snow blowing .. my son had an outdoor hockey practice along with a team Christmas party...hot dogs and brats were grilled outdoors on a charcoal grill... it's crazy.. but sure was a ton of cold fun.. Might I add.. every kid out there had to be pulled into the warming house..when it was time to go..

If you ever wondered where hockey moms get their reputation from... this is a very slight example... winter is what you make of it.. sort of like a rainy day...or overly humid day..

That is how long we have had snow on the ground. Yesterday it was -25C and I spent 3 hours cleaning up fri. snow about 10" now as I sit here we have 5" of fresh snow and no sign of it letting up. Yes I am tired of winter. I SHOULD HAVE TAUGHT THE DOG TO PULL A SLED!

Depends on your location!! In Florida "Winter" is the dry season, and it's cooler than the hot, humid, rainy summers, in other words "prime time" for cobras!! Yesterday (Saturday) I took my ERA and met a buddy with his Unique at Starbuck's on US#1 in Coral Gables at 7:30 am, and we "headed south". Turned out to be a spectacular day, and we just kept heading south and ended up having lunch & a beer at the Turtle Kraal in the old seaport district of Key West. Got back by 5:00 PM after a great drive, tremendous views of the Keys, and 300+ miles on the cobras. Yessir winter is GREAT!!!

Smile I hate winter

Yesterday it was 60 and rained all day, well the sun did shine for 35 minutes. Today it's 31 and the sun is out. It's been over two week since I got to drive a Cobra.

going into D.T.s

must have a fast ride soon

I don't like the cold weather. And I think I will have to work outside next week. Ugh

Dwight

P.S.
I think yesterday was the first day of winter

About a foot of snow in the driveway, my snow blower is down for the count, but my refrigerator is full.

How about everyone wish for a Happy Easter rather than Happy Holidays and we can just cancel winter.

Warren

I thought you put on the snow tires and drive regardless of the weather?

Best to you and yours, Merry Christmas

OK, us dumb Yankees can handle all the verbal slings and arrows coming from our fellow enthusiasts living in the Sunbelt; but come next August or September don't look for any sympathy from us when there's a hurricane blowing in from the Gulf! I'll take a blizzard, anytime!

I just shoveled 5 more inches of "partly cloudy" from the walkway.

Hey, here's a thought... when you tell us how much snow you have and how cold it is, how about including where you live?

Only a couple of inches on the hills here but it is in the low 20s the past couple of mornings. It is trying to rain right now and just making a mess of everything. This Global Warming is freezing me.
