SPF rear end mount problem

Please be more specific, as this is new news to me and I've had my car (#747) for five years and don't recall anything specific to a rear-end mount issue. SCOF would have also covered this extensively if it were an ongoing issue (you are a member of SCOF, right?). The upper shock tower brackets can be a weak link and upgrades are available through Performance Unlimited. I highly recommend them.

I get my daily dose of SCOF e-mails. I read the article in SCOF about the upper rear shock mount being rather weak and dangerous before it was redesigned somewhere around car 1640 or so (check the SCOF site for acurate details).

I just got the new brackets. You could use them to tie down an aircraft carrier to a dock. Will be installing them soon.

Your title should not say "rear end mounting" ... its really a new bracket for the top mount of the rear shocks.
