Smile Uptown Car Show Flyer

Ok you guys. I am proud to request induction into the NW Cobra Club by posting a message on the forum.

During the lunchtime hour this guy came strolling by with a handful of flyers and asked "who was in charge here". Well, as the newbie, both Karen and I chimed up...we are, since no one else was around. He said he was tired of putting flyers in cars since there were so many cars to deal with. So he asked Karen and I (the in-charge duo) to tell the rest of the Cobra owners about the events on the two flyers, so here ya go.

5th Annual By the Bay Car Show, Sunday, July 19th in beautiful downtown Steilacoom along the water's edge, with a park-like setting. Raffles, pancake breakfast, hot dog lunch. Door prizes - $300 gas card. $20 entry fee per car. Blah, blah, blah. For more info call Jim or Carol Beckwith at 253-588-1488 or fphsbecky@msn.com.

2nd flyer....drum role....Cruisin at Summer Fest '09. Fort Steilacoom Park Show. Saturday June 20, 2009 11am - 4pm. Trophies in 33 categories! Much more. Call City of Lakewood 253-405-9014 or www.lakewoodsummerfest.com.

Finally, Karen and myself thoroughly enjoyed the company of all those we met - Jim, Jim, LeeAnn, John, Bill, Andy, Steve, Karen, Darin - and look forward to more events and outings.

Bill,

You should have suspected something was up when we all took off running and left you standing there. Long live our new president.

Bill,

Congratulations on your election to the Presidency. You ran a clean and honest campaign. May your term be long and fruitful.

Ah shucks....hey, I thought you guys might like to take 20 minutes to view this attached video. I told Bill about it at the show and thought I'd share it with anyone who hasn't seen it.

Unbelievable.
His comment at the end about the next step will be a bigger motor proves that too much is never enough.

Cool

Bill,
I watch the video wow==========================,
I was thinking like Ray how nuch more, When my Son Tyler was working on the Funny car team, he had me in the race car van and said dad if you pass me on the starting line in the Cobra at 200mph and dont change your speed and I start from stop and run a 5.002 286mph I well beat you. I said no way so he set the run in the computer me as car A and him as car B he just beats me at the finish line., his 60ft time 120mph. Thanks for the video Bill that GT was great.

Default More and more and more and more

Confucius says, no matter how fast any car is and how much one spends, there is always going to be someone's car which is faster. Always. Not a theory, but rather this is a fact, just like we all die.
Regardless, that GTTT rocks. Now all I need to do is to wipe the drewel off my MAC.
