Winter Blahs
Anything going on this weekend? Seems like the cold weather has us in hibernation already!

snow will be going on here in Cincinnati by Saturday.
thoughts of new trailer, new heads (ordered), and maybe an occasional road day when the weather breaks.

Yes, snow coming here tomorrow or so they say.
Winter starts Officially on the 21st.... so we have a LONG way to go Amigos... Do not want to bumm ya but this is still Fall...
Anyhoo..
I get cheered up doing some maintenance and minor upgrades.
Just installed some of those new HELLA supertone horns. Damn they are really LOUD? Maybe I'll be able to hear them over the exhaust. Hee Hee (What did you say??)
Also, been changing all fluids and filters and such.
Just installed a 18 toothed driven gear in the toploader replacing a 19 toothed model. Speedo was pessimistic. Will have to see what this does for "accuracy".
Next up will be the fitment of AC type brake and clutch pedals. I got these from Enzo (Finish Line). Just finished shaping and sanding and buffing them. Painted the inset relief areas around the AC logo in red. Now to take off the old ERA pedals and mill or cut notches and holes for the pedal shaft fitment and springs.
So, jackstand work is always fun.
When all else fails we can always wax the wax.

Just got over a terrible 3 day storm here. Rain and more rain! Flooding and high surf closed a couple of highways (uh,,,,and thats about all of them around here, )
,,,anyway, storm passed, sun is out and shining nicely again and me with no Cobra. Oh yeah, I definitly got the winter blahs!

Wow:
Looks like you guys have a busy winter planned. For me, a week in Florida begining on the 13th. A new garage floor from Race Deck in the spring. Carb rebuild on the Holley 750, then to the showroom floor at the Ford dealers for 3 months of heated inside free storage whilst they display 'ol SPF 725.

Hi all
Well down here we are in the middle of a wet summer.
Well 25 - 30c then rain that has flooded the most of inner Melbourne streets.
Anyway summer promises to be a very hot one with high 30c at the beginning of December.
So here we are planning tons of driving, BBQ's and beer.
Sounds good.
Well I'm off.
Cheers

Not for me this weekend! Snow + Cobra = Insurance claim. On the bright side of that equation, assuming I survive, I would have plenty of money to buy a brand new car!
We do however need a OCC party/gathering some time this winter.

Today only 73, tomorrow 79, but on Sunday a big cold front with 70% chance of rain and only 77. I'm going to have to move further south.

Sunny and a COLD 54 here at the present time. But water is still running down the streets from the past 4 days and nights of rain.

Al/Casaleenie By the way, where the he!! did Casaleenie come from any ways?
Mike, the final determination about the hotels has not been made. I beleive that we will still be in the same area but excluding the CC hotel and including a couple right across the free way. I am waiting to see where are the action is going to be before I book!
Frank, all. Lets do get some thing together after the holidays. I finally got around to R&R the windsheild and surround rubber so that I could install the tensioner and make use of my top. Forgot how nice that top looks.
Mike and Frank going to Florida......... Hmmmmm. You know what my grandfather used to call Florida? 'Gods waiting room'
