Default Peter Brock at Olthoff Racing NC

Guys: Just thought I would stop in at Olthoff Racing outside Charlotte NC to check out the cars hoping to maybe see the One Lap of America Coupe. Down here on business and just thought heh why not take a side trip and stop in and pay repects to Bob Olthoff and the family.
Pull up and see this absolutely beautiful "Red" coupe outside. Mark Ray, sales guy, walks up and says what a great day for cars and sun in North Carolina. I return and say can't be any better and Mark says where are the girls!!!. I reply to Mark and say can't see them for the cars. I ask Mark is this a customer's car? Mark says yes it is Peter Brock's coupe!!!!
No way, Mark says way and here is Peter, we introduce and talk about cars and what an opportunity. Peter says he is picking his wife up and traveling back to Washington state in his red coupe with an all aluminum 427 and says a perfect road car to travel across the country. I had my rep take a few digital pictures of me and Peter's coupe. I will post when I get them.
We got to look at one up on the lift and talk with Peter on his envolvement with Superformance on creating this car. What an afternoon, can't believe it, felt bad asking for his autograph but felt I had to.
There were (4) coupes at this location including Peters and a bunch of customer cars, plus ones they were delivering, seems the 402R Roush motor was the one of choice.
It was a great day and one to remember. Got to love these cars!!
Jim
