Back when I was 'appointed' the OCC president I sent an email to everyone basically stating that this is your club. It is what you make of it. I am little more than a conduit for information.
So lets see what you have made of it in the last year and a half.
Members have gone from 67 families to 134 families! 100% increase, now that is growth.
OCC is now OCC INC, a 501C3 non profit corporation. With by-laws, fed-id and all that wonderful little corporate stuff.
OCC now has other officers (it WAS lonely at the top
), vice-pres, treasurer, and even a sergeant at arms (we still owe him a XXXL LCS staff t-shirt so I can not forget Steve).
OCC has its own logo which is being registered.
OCC has its own bank account and checking (a positive balance no less)
OCC now has its own website. Just born today but
www.ohiocobraclub.com will grow up before your eyes.
OCC now has its own 'clothing line'. Available soon! But many have seen the samples, very nice.
OCC now has at least three annual events (not counting LCS) that it hosts, going into at least their second year. The picnic, fall foliage cruise and the holiday party with talks of more including the up and coming cruise in for CF and at last, perhaps even something for the southern guys!
So congratulations Ohio Cobra Club. You should be proud!
