LCS '06 general discussion thread

Since the 'big crash' occurred many of the 'who is coming' etc. threads where lost. I thought I would start this one to answer general questions. Remember, just about everything you want to know is over on www.londoncobrashow.com.

I also started some specific threads once again under the Ohio Cobra Club fourm for items like Mid-Ohio, the raffle car, the motorcycle for London and for the event and raffle car flyers.

Mid-Ohio is 40% booked and is first come first serve so don't delay!!

Last time I checked we where over 115 cars registered for '06! In '04, that level was not reached until 48 days later, and that year London saw 300+ cars! 400 any one?

Remember, on May 15 registration for this year goes up $25 so don't delay!

Tell your friends, co-workers, relatives, who ever you can about the raffle car. Help us give $100,000.00 to CF this year. If we sell all 2500 tickets, that is what we are looking at doing! Print off a flyer and put one up!

We just came and watched last year. Enjoyed the event. Made a reservation as we left town. Question --- Where would you put that many cars??? Do you spill onto the side streets???

As you know, London is not the biggest city around but we will find room! Side streets, etc.

I will try to behave on Friday night and get in line early. I was impressed with the organization of the event last year.

I thought there was only going to be 1000 tickets.

That's a good one!!

Heck, we don't know what we're doing...we just use the event as an excuse to get out of the house every other week to drink beer and tell lies!!

Was always 2500 tickets, still really great odds, so now do you want to buy two more tickets?

Heck, but three more and improve your odds! 1000 tickets at $50 a pop would not even cover cost if we had to pay for everything!

How snockered do I have to be after I drop the wife off at the hotel to get back across Renner Road on foot after parking the trailer???

A new sport was born, the Watermalon Crawl races, down past the Hampton,...................starting at 2 AM every morning........... just make sure you are facing traffic

Its really sad --- I feel too old to be crawling around at 2 am. Crossing guard is a good idea. Can we dress him up as a Carroll Shelby look alike???

Well, I haven't been on Club Cobra for a while. I have been too busy working on the car (it's almost finished) plus I finally got a job and went back to the daily grind. Last year I was a spectator at LCS but this year I am ready to enjoy all the festivities as a true participant. I can't wait!! See you all there.
